Agreeing to these terms
By connecting an account or using Keyward, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Keyward for a business or a client, you're agreeing on their behalf and you confirm you're allowed to.
What Keyward does
Keyward watches for new comments on the Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages you connect. When a comment contains a keyword you picked, Keyward sends that person the private message you wrote, through Meta's APIs. It can also post a public reply on Instagram and send a follow-up link after the person replies.
Your account
- You sign in with Instagram or Facebook. Keep that login safe, since anyone with it can reach your Keyward workspace.
- Only connect accounts and Pages you own or are authorized to manage.
- You're responsible for the campaigns in your workspace and the messages they send.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
Acceptable use
Don't use Keyward to:
- send spam, or message people who didn't comment your keyword;
- send anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or misleading;
- promote scams, phishing, malware, or anything that breaks someone else's rights;
- collect people's data for purposes they didn't agree to;
- get around Meta's limits, or try to break, overload or reverse engineer Keyward.
We can pause campaigns or close workspaces that break these rules. When we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
Meta's platforms
Keyward runs on Instagram and Facebook, so you also have to follow Meta's Terms, Community Standards, Platform Terms and messaging policies. Meta decides what its APIs allow. If Meta changes or limits a feature, blocks a message, or restricts your account, Keyward may stop working for that account, and that's outside our control.
Keyward isn't made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Meta.
Your content
Your messages, keywords and links stay yours. You give us permission to store them and send them on your behalf, only to run the service. You confirm you have the right to send what you put in your campaigns.
Plans and pricing
The free plan runs up to 3 live campaigns at no cost. Paid plans aren't on sale yet. If we launch them, we'll show prices before you pay, and nothing on the free plan will ever charge you without your say.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time. Disconnect an account, or delete your whole workspace in Settings, and we delete the data as described in the privacy policy. We may end the service or close accounts that break these terms, and we'll give reasonable notice when we can.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Keyward running, but it's provided "as is." We can't promise every message will send, since delivery depends on Meta, the recipient's settings and network conditions.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, Keyward isn't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, or for anything caused by Meta's platforms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, which on the free plan is $0.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app before they apply. If you keep using Keyward after that, the new terms apply.
