Delete your data

You can remove everything Keyward holds about you at any time. Pick whichever way is easiest. Each one deletes your access tokens, campaigns and DM log.

Option 1: in Keyward

  1. Sign in at getkeyward.pages.dev/app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete workspace and confirm.

Everything is deleted right away. To remove just one account and keep the rest, open Accounts and choose Disconnect next to it.

Option 2: from Instagram

  1. In the Instagram app, go to your profile and open the menu.
  2. Tap Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
  3. Find Keyward under Active and tap Remove.

Instagram lets us know, and we delete that account's data automatically.

Option 3: from Facebook

  1. On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
  2. Go to Apps and websites (under Your activity or Permissions).
  3. Find Keyward, choose Remove, and tick the box to delete activity if it's offered.

Facebook sends us a deletion request. We delete the data and give Facebook a confirmation code, which you can check below.

Option 4: ask us

Send a request through our contact form and pick "Delete my data." Tell us the Instagram username or Facebook Page name. We'll confirm it's your account and delete the data within 30 days, usually much sooner.

This is also the way to go if you commented on a post from an account that uses Keyward and want your entry removed from that account's log.

What gets deleted

  • Access tokens for the account, so Keyward can't act on it anymore.
  • Keyward's subscription to comments and messages on that account.
  • Campaigns, keywords and messages you wrote.
  • The DM log and any pending reply-first follow-ups.
  • Your sign-in link to Keyward, and your whole workspace if no other login is connected to it.
Messages already sent stay in Instagram or Messenger. Keyward can't unsend a DM. Those conversations belong to you and the person you messaged, and live in Meta's apps.
